I absent Mindly forgot to put in belly wedge on 2 mink, they are stuck right now, I just try put them in freezer, would slit them up the belly side devalue the pelt? What other way is there ? I read that put in freezer would work to get them off?

I've done that with otter several times. Like elsmasho said. a few good hard taps on the nose. Then I put the bottom of the board in a vise and used leather gloves for grip and was able to pull them off. I would think mink would be a bit easier?

Overnight wrap in some moist paper towels and they come right off next day.

Don't need to be over-saturated. Moist enough if you squeeze a handful of it some water comes out.

Yup a warm damp towel works wonders, doesn’t take very long, then put bottom board in a vice and pull it off. Done it many times when I forgot belly board.
