I have search all over the internet to see a picture of a Shtremimel Skunk tail hat. I Have yet to see 1 picture of the skunk tail Hat anywhere. Lots of pictures of the Jewish hat made out off Marten tails. I am not sure if last year was the 1st year that Jewish married men made the decision to also go with skunk tails for the hat ? Hard for me to believe that none have actually been made yet ? Could someone show a picture of the Shtremimel skunk tail hat ?
Would give us a perspective of what one looks like and why the skunk Market is so hot. Thanks. Marty

They dye the tails brown, that's why they need white tails

Same here, looked everywhere. I guess none are advertised as skunk tails.

There's three reasons why you can't find pictures. First skunk didn't become a popular material until 2025, when Sable became overly expensive. Second Hasidic men avoid photography due to religious modesty concerns. Third the photos just say shtreimel hat in the description and not what it's made of.

Yes. Those were the same pictures I found. But nothing in the descriptions that they are made of Skunk Tails.
Only Martin tails were mentioned of the type of fur used. The wearers of the hats might not want people to know they are made of skunk tails. Ha Ha. I thought thou in USA fur garments had to show what animal the fur item was made out of , ether on tag of garment or the sales order of the fur item. Might be different in Israel.
