Every time it's the same ....I turn off the cake icon, and "someone" keeps turning it back on
You're having too much fun , Patrice ! I see your intent, and thank you for your thoughtfulness in wanting people to enjoy their lives and have fun .
Many thanks , everyone for your kindness , too.
Nessy, that lamb is adorable. I want to pet this one, as I do at the fairs . Any of them that approaches me in their pens , I love to pet them.
OhioBoy, its a lifelong affliction ! Everything I see , my mind automatically analyzes angles, colours, and impact of images. Human or animal. And especially mountains. I can't escape those observations, on the job or not !
Always like seeing that meme, Hoss ! My favorite .
Turtledale, that meme is a hoot ! I like it !
Bob J, love those wee owls.
Thank you, everyone.
I am cooking today, and enjoying the snow . The mountains are gorgeous. My most favorite songbird has been singing for me , Varied Thrushes. They look much like robins. They are very uncommon and only heard for way too short a time , mainly in March. I have several I've been enjoying this morning. They only sing in early mornings and at dusk in the eves.
I have been notified that a few of the veterans from my beloved town to the north , that I've been reading good stories to every week , want to take a drive to stop in for a visit. I never want them to go out of their way, but they insist. Like Patrice, there's no arguing with them when they make up their minds ...

I'm gathering up a couple of YouTube videos of Varied Thrush singing to share here . I would wager that most folks have never seen nor heard these unique, uncommon birds before. They need dense large growth forests in the northwest . The forested roads down to Stanley, Idaho, are filled with their songs in spring, as well as other similar thrushes.
I will post a couple videos here asap.
