I sold 30 in December for $100 each and another 30 in January for $120 each for the interior males. I have 60 SE marten I’m going to sell next week in Fairbanks. All to Wivoda? Anyone going to try an Auction?

I'm rooting for you all! I still get sugar plumbs dancing in my head when I think about the 2013 auctions! I'll stick my neck out and say they (marten) are going to bring 2013 prices again. There's just to much worldwide interest and brokers calling around searching for marten. Cats will be crazy high but I won't make a prediction there. Who knows with this item? The Russian sables were 15-16% above the 2013 average. For the first sale of the year.

Yes things look real promising for the Fur Trade and trappers - with higher marten and lynx demand, this should increase the Trapline activity and production. Much needed if this industry is to stay relevant. Seeing more fur being worn ... in person and online. Hoping all types of fur, even the current "lowly" Coyote getting some help from a "rising tide"

I don't know what marten will end up averaging on the Idaho sale, but I know I got just over 120 on mine. They were nice marten, but I won't claim they were as good as Alaska marten, so you guys should do good. Rocky mountain marten averaging 120. From what I've heard and what I saw on a YouTube from a guy selling to Wivoda (Arctc Raw Fur) in Tok, 120 is the same average up here!

Historically, Cascade/Rocky Mountain marten have been half to maybe two thirds of the value of Alaska marten. Unless the buyers of these $120 marten are going to consume them themselves, I predict that they are going to take quite a loss on them.
I hope I am wrong, and that Alaska marten average close to $200 at Fur Harvesters. It's happened before.
