I usually like to buy and use a few different baits/lures every season.
But my absolute have to have is cavens Hiawatha valley and dobbins Backbreaker.
I got my order from MTP
Yesterday and I’m unfamiliar with the lure Hudson Bay-iron trail lure they sent along with it. Guess we’ll see what happens with it.

Do you guys have an absolute must you have to have/ that you trust??

Carmans Hudson Seal for ‘rats
Billingsleys Chips for beaver
Dobbin’s Backbreaker for beaver
Graham’s Grab and Die for canines
Locklear’s Federales for canines

Most of my coon are snared. The rest are caught in DPs with cat food. The few fox I catch are all snared.

Lately with the lower prices its time to experiment and try a few different things. Even the old good stuff doesn't work every year.

I can’t resist throwing a gob of Fur King in a dirt hole. It’s caught me many raccoons and it smells delicious

O yes!!! Can’t help but think about putting a gob of that on some fresh baked bread.
