we don't get much of one the lowest it got here this year was around 15 degrees

It was at the end of January. We get ice for a few weeks and then just cold.

In summer it is about 85 to 100 but mainly 90

Man, our season opens Nov. 10, and it was 25 degrees with 4 inches of snow falling. And yes, I was dumb enough to ride a four-wheeler through that to set coon and muskrat traps.

gotcha yeah January was when it got to about 15° here but it doest stay there long, definitely not long enough to form ice. we did get a lil snow this year tho so that was good

ours is 24 hours except if it's a submersion set which is every 4 days, and if it's an under ice set there's no mandatory checking period
