I got married at Circus Circus Casino in 1976. Got remarried to the same woman 3 years later in the Church. Does that count? It will be 50 years April 9.

My in laws were married when my wife and her sister were very young. Then divorced for about a year. Remarried, had another child and stayed together for about 25 years. Divorced again about 4 years back.

I've been married for 40 years coming up in May. It was the best 7 years of my life...
The 14 years of menopause was a trying time to say the least, especially since all through it, she swore that I was the cause of it, and I am pretty sure that deep down she still harbors that sentiment...
I'm not too sure that Term Limits aren't such a bad idea with marriages. We could set it up so that Reconsideration to Continue could be laid on the table at the end of the Term as long as both parties are amicable.
