You need a shop. You set it up once and just clean up the saw dust enough there's no fall hazard. My dad's table saw sat in a usable position in one place for 24 years and has sat in another now for 26 more.

Whatever you use, table saw, radial arm saw, bandsaw, circular saw with guide, handsaw; get a combination or ripping blade, as a crosscut blade trying to rip wet treated lumber is a big pain.

Here's a possible alternative to 2x2's....I rarely use them, I get 1x3's, cheap, just as strong and more surface for nails or screws....been awhile but I think they're still available at HD and like places...found near the 1x2 furring strips.
Use PT stuff for ground contact and the 1x3's for framing....Your building light structures, and you don't need to fool around ripping anything. YMMV
