Me and Sandy have been married 55 plus years And I would marry her all over again in a heart beat. To say she's put up with me is an understatement. Every day we sit, either in my workshop or, weather permitting on the porch and just talk and sip coffee. Mostly about nothing or some things that are going on around us. She's just so special to me..

Im blessed beyond measure. So much to list to much infact.

From being born in the United States to my amazing mother, to have the grandparents I had, to being introduced to my wife at 16( was a coordinated attack from my step mom and wifes grandmother.) I have 3 healthy kids and one that was killed in a wreck, good job, nice farm.

Lately I've been noticing the little things I had been over looking like sun rise.

Even with my body doing odd things and betraying me with ms I try to stay positive. Its just God's way of slowing me down and geting me to take notice of those little things like those sun rise or the days I wake up and feel well and body response as it should are no longer taken for granted. I have also developed more empathy for others struggles.

Insert profound nonsense here

Happy just to be born in the best country on earth...instead of the poor people digging in trash heaps for food in a third world country in grinding poverty and abuse.

People whom I love and who love me just as much. Never taking each other for granted. To be steady, calm, kind-hearted and have that reciprocated back to me in return. To share talents to have other people happy.

Taking a deep breath of good clean mountain air. Good health and strength. White teeth. Great doctors, dentists, optometrists, police, firefighters, medics. , pilots , loggers, linemen keeping the power on, men who can repair , maintain, or build just about anything. People who keep our country running well.

To be realistic with happy countenance and make negatives work out to be solutions, not paralyzed cases of complaining despair. Being cognizant of small things to feel appreciative for every day.

Indoor running hot and cold water. A hot shower. Nice sandalwood scented soap . Candles. A washing machine. Quality Egyptian cotton sheets. A comfortable cabin , plenty of firewood. A nice kitchen to enjoy cooking. Grocery stores full of good foods and products. My truck running dependably.

A strong military to protect us. Veterans and their care.

To live in a place that has all the advantages of remote life, and all the advantages of small town amenities.

Petting a soft furry rabbit...hearing birds sing. Powerful , and fast horses. Chooks.Trees.

Seeing gorgeous mountains . Beautiful woodwork. Firearms.

Life with a happy mindset.

Thank you, Patrice, for having people smile in happy , good things.
