What herbicide have any of you all used to kill bush honeysuckle by spraying on the foliage? It is starting to become a nuisance around my house and i need to kill some

I would stay away from Tordon, it is bad for tulip and other trees in the same area. I lost some sawtooth oaks that were close to a stump I treated with it. Roundup, 2-4-D, Crossbow, Triclopyr 3, would be a better choice.

are they very small?

if they have any size to them , cut and put the herbicide on the fresh cut

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Use a little Dawn dishwashing liquid mixed in the herbicide. This will get through the wax or thick leaves. Works great on poison ivy, Honey suckle, Green briars, and really great on pond lily pads.

Bush honeysuckle pulls rather easy and it won't come back. Even for its size, the root system does not go very deep usually and with a little force can be physically removed. A skidsteer makes quick work of them just by rolling them up with a bucket but even 5-7 footers can be hand pulled

I pop them out with the skid steer.
Burning will kill small ones.
I used Garlon for three years. You have to soak the whole plant then it's iffy. Used glyphosate- same thing. Spraying has to be done at the right time or it won't work.
The skid steer always works.

Just passin through

Triclopyr when they are good and leafed out in the spring. Too early and the leaves just keep pushing out (lesson learned last spring). Tried the late fall spray last fall when they are about the only thing with leaves. Used glyphosate, checked today and think it actually did the trick. This is for spraying a lot with a backpack/pump sprayer. Small amounts I would cut and spray the stump with a diesel/triclopyr mixture.
