I have what I think are B&L #3 jumps, maybe a #4, but it doesn't say on the pan. Dimensions in open position are 5.5x6.5".
The pans are wobbly and I'm not sure how to stiffen them. Ultimately, would they work for beaver front foot?
Thanks.

Yes, they will work for front footing beaver. There is a thread on this page titled "Pans" that has a description of how to tighten them. Not my favorite beaver trap, but they work, so I tended to use them where I was worried about theft.

Thanks Bearcat. My go to traps are mb750's, but I have 2 B&L. So, attempting to incorporate one of them onto a float. If I can get it to function properly.

Save those #3's for muskrats or mink. If you are going for a front foot catch any 1 1/2 or 2 CS will work just fine. Especially on a drowning rig. The #3's will work, if this is all you have. But I have had a lot of misses and unset traps using the #3's and #4s'. Definitely do what Bearcat2 says if you are using them
