See any ICE agents there? I read an article somewhere that ICE was supposed to be filling in for the TSA agents that aren't bothering to go to work.

Yeah. So far their just standing around talking to each other and otherwise not doing anything.

Almost a wash except flying down here from OKC was easy.

The quickly disappearing video, of that Air Canada Jet hitting a fire truck and breaking off the cockpit, at La Guardia on Sunday, was pretty horrific. That air traffic controller did not sound right. I don't know if he was shocked or impaired. That stewardess that survived, skidding down the runway, still buckled to the seat will have a heck of a story to tell, if she stayed conscious. It's amazing more people weren't killed.

I was supposed to be in Charleston this week with connections through Chicago. I ended up canceling and we did the meetings remotely.

I can't get the Wallstreet Journal video to open. Right after the crash, there was a video showing the actual collision from several different angles, as it happened. That one was taken off of YouTube, when I had time and went back to watch it, but it may have reappeared.

My son flew from La Guardia in New york to Little Rock last night. An hour in line and and hour delay but not too bad overall

I would not be waiting in line 4.5hrs to get somewhere I could drive in around 6

Should never have nationalized airport security.

Airport security should be privatized, held to high standards and scrupulously inspected by the Feds. Heavy penalties should be applied for failures. Delays would be greatly shortened because customers would fly from somewhere else, if an individual terminal, or even airport, had longer wait times than the competition.

Have not flown since getting out of Navy and probably never will again, might take longer but drive wherever need to go as long as CONUS, if outside CONUS no need to go

La Guardia shouldn't still be in operation by this time but I suppose the officials in NYC and Nassau or even Suffolk counties couldn't agree on building a larger, longer runway systems airport further out of the city itself. Newark is the airport I've used going into NYC. A much better situation than La Guarida.

A good weekend to have the basketball tournament in Houston.
