Cabelas in prairieduchein also design homes are built there.not sure if Pete's hamburger stand is open but they rave about the burgers.iam sure there's Amish on some of county roads they could possibly have maple syrup baked goods and cheese.

run down the great river road and if it has a brown sign for a county park or overlook go look , there are some interesting ones.

start with grandads bluff in La Cross , I think you can see Macthedivers house from there so wave.

Lucky's in Bagley has a good fish fry and it's Friday so when you get down south stop in and have a beer and a fry

Rudy’s drive in opens today in La Crosse with their rolling skating waitresses.

Starks in PDC, I think there is a little casino by Lansing, Also a little army surplus store along the river rd.

There's a casino across the river from prairieduchein in Marquette Iowa right on the river.

Lots of great little river towns - Alma, Pepin, along the River Road. Lots of things to see, eat, do.

yup if you want to do a little shopping you can get
guns , boats, motors, bait , tackle , booze , beer, ammo , wine , and T-shirts and Sweat shirts all at the same place

be hard to be more Wisconsin unless your also eating cheese which they sell and eating a fish fry all at the same time.

When you coming down? I live in PDC so be sure to wave maybe I'll see ya. If you don't have a WI state park sticker you can cross the bridge at Marquette and take a left, go through McGregor IA and up to Pikes Peak State Park. You don't have to pay admission to go to state parks in IA. And honestly the view is a bit better from the lookouts on that side of the river.

Some have mentioned Cabela's and Starks in town. I don't go in either too often and IMO Bass Pro taking Cabela's over hasn't been a good thing it's not the same type of store as it used to be. You can kill a little time in Cabela's & Starks and if you want a pretty good place to eat there's Mulligans which is just down from Starks a 100 yards or so. They have pretty good food and their fish competes and beats most any around here.
