Not sure how to go about explaining shipping the best way, but USPS currently has the best rates! That being said, I ship using a USPS flat rate box. Most stuff can be shipped in medium or large flats rate boxes that cost $21.95 for medium box and $31.50 for large box!

Last week I shipped a dozen traps to New Mexico in a large flats rate rate boxes , cost $31.50. After I got done with the transaction, I asked the lady what it would cost using a regular box. She put it back on the scales and for USPS ground it would have been $47.05 going USPS GROUND, while shipping priority mail was $75!

If someone has a different, less expensive way to ship, let me know!

Bob

Sign up for USPS business on line. Print labels at home. Saves quite a bit over their regular shipping rates. You can get a cheep scale off Amazon for non flat rate shipments.

Pirate Ship is the most economical way to ship for us currently. Heavy boxes always goes UPS. USPS is nearly double the rate of UPS on heavier and larger packages.

You can pick and choose the rate with Pirate ship. We only ship smaller packages by USPS.

I agree Bob. Single setters go USPS. Cases to dealers, UPS is the way to go for sure. Lower 48 anyway. LFRB through USPS to Alaska is hard to beat.

Pirate Ship gives you the option of UPS or post office. Their post office rates beat the USPS rates hands down. No subscription fee. Just need a computer and a printer. I completely dropped click-n-ship once I found pirate ship. Easy to use. Stores addresses for repeat customers. Overall a great program.

I only use USPS flat rate box, I have to travel 45-60 miles to ship ups.
Can get a dozen #2's in if you set and wire open.

Pirate ship gets you 50% or more off of UPS shipping rates. Anyone not using it is paying substantially more than they should be paying

Gotta live up to the nickname...
