beef roast, brussels sprouts ,roasted roots ,my pastry chef is making something for desert.
my mom flew back from FL to be with my grandma Monday , before that we were planning just the kids and I at my house.
Grandma went from the Hospital to Hospice care then to a hospice facility and passed away last night.
so the meal was designed that I could serve it anywhere including the tailgate of my truck when I planned it Monday. because the situation has been so fluid
Grandma didn't spend >2 nights in the same bed in a week with moves to/from 3 facilities.
she was 92 and it was time but that doesn't make it easy for my mother who had to make all the decisions as the medical power of attorney.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

A 2” thick slab of Christmas dinner leftover with twice-baked potatoes. Stick a probe in the slab and bring it up to eating temp in the oven.

I'll do a honey glazed ham, probably rosemary potatoes and scalloped corn. Probably a broccoli salad as well. Mom has a great recipe for it. Not sure for dessert. I may do my rhubarb custard pie. It's always a hit.
Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.
