First off I remember nightly news during my child hood coming on and announcing body counts and lists of assets lost in Viet Nam And this idea that well we ain’t supposed to lose anything in a conflict and we aren’t supposed to destroy anything either is quite ridiculous. It’s a war we need to stop acting like no one gets hurt, nothing gets destroyed and it’s all a real life video game needs to halt.

We will lose assets, we will lose personnel and we will cause damage and kill people. That’s how it works. So pray for a quick end and secession of hostilities and support our troops. That’s the best we can do sitting in the sidelines…

Looks to me like he is just using common sense. War kills and destroys and it is never one sided. Don't fall into the media trap as spin as people do when we take some losses.
