The machine dishwasher never cleans like I want it to.
I mostly use it to clean already clean canning jars while preparing a batch to can.
Gets them hot for hot batches.
If it takes me longer than I figured , I put the jars in the oven @ 200 degrees.

We use a dishwasher for most of our dishes. Our new one does a very good job. I do quite a bit of the cooking and use more pans, tins, trays etc. and I hand wash all of the stuff I use. I also like putting my canning jars in the dishwasher. You can do 40 or so at a time. Nice and hot also.
