The morels grew a bit since Friday. Saw dozens more tiny ones and reluctantly left them. I’m worried the upcoming cold will kill them so we had to take a few. I saw lots more ramps but didn’t have anything to dig them up except my pocket knife.
Cornish hens for supper ;and these forage finds will make a nice accompaniment!

We are saving the mushrooms for another night. Kinda scared after we got sick on em last year. The ramps were exquisite sautéed and they cook down to nothing but so worth it
