Maybe you were thinking Scottsdale? my mistake when a artifact stays on top of the ground for some time the top will be white with more weathering and the underside the core rock colour or close to it; and break will show on the end or side During that time period 6000 bp remember that up north was still retreating glaciers ice at about Churchill, and it was grasslands and wooly mammoths were just being near the end.
