I inherited this Remington side by side. It belonged to my great grandfather and been passed down. I actually hunted with it as a teenager. My grandpa cut 3 inches off of it got some reason when he got it. It was apparently leaning on a Rick of firewood and it fell over on it and broke the stock and trigger guard. He wood putty the stock and had the trigger guard brazed. Where can I get a new stock? It says patented October 30 1894

That ol' guy has been through the ringer. I hope you can get him back in shape. 160 is the stock guy around here, but that one may be a tough find. Good luck.

What a beautiful early 1900's shotgun. I'd leave grandpa's fixes. I love the old wood patina.

But If his repairs make it still a shooter, maybe you could just make the wood putty job match better.
Would love to see the repair if you have the chance, can't see it in the picture you posted.

I was given simular suggestion 25 years ago on an old side-by-side Damascus barrel...
