What an interesting journey and many firsts included in this trip. ~253,000 miles away from earth is an amazing thing in it's self.

If support for NASA gets to the levels it used to be when I was a kid who knows what future accomplishments could be on the docket.

(Take the money spent from unneeded and unpopular wars imho).

It takes a special kind of person to be an astronaut.. at any given moment it could all go wrong and cost them their lives.
No way could I sit on top of something with the power of a miniature nuclear bomb.
I had read somewhere that buzz aldrin , while waiting for liftoff, had a heart rate of 80 beats per minute… the normal human beat is about 120.
Cool as a cucumber.

It would be a cool job! Until you realize you are riding in something that probably has a couple of Ford parts in it…..

just driving to the store at any moment everything could go wrong and cost you your life

60 is a relaxed sitting
80 is slow walking
100 is a fast walk
120-130 is like in inclined walk on a tread mill around 4 mph or on an excersize bike , maybe climbing some stairs
140-150s is a fairly intense workout like running.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

When I was in school they always said 72 bpm was the norm. Now they say 60-100.

Eh...wot?

It amazes me how fast the space program has excelled in the last year.

Rescue mission to get the starving Astronauts the capsule traveled 19,000 mph

This mission 23000 mph.

This is what free minds let loose can do IMO!!!!

It is fantastic the new frontier!!!!!!
