I also couldn't get on earlier. I asked Grok what was happening and it thought it likely a hacking attack was occurring, without a successful take over.

It's been good all afternoon and evening. I've been on intermittent, no problems. I did a major cleanup of files and cookies last night, cleaned out all the useless junk taking up space which sped things up on my end.
