I know you love 2x's, but cheap 1x3's for the upper structure is lighter, cheaper, and you got more bearing surface for screws....and more than strong enough....but I think I already mentioned that, lol

Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

When daughters had rabbits they each had their own cage. Put a doe in with the buck one at a time to get babies as needed. Just leave her in there a couple hours. Rabbits don't cycle like other animals. They ovulate whenever they get bred if not pregnant.

Always take the doe to the buck pen. Some does can become territorial and will defend their pen, often biting the bucks penis and testicles. Hamsters are even worse at that.

If you have a doe that won't stand for the buck, an hour car ride, will make them more receptive. The research on that was first done in Argentina and was replicated by Wilmington College, with my rabbits and assistance. There vulvas get 2 1/2 shades brighter on average, after the car ride. The brighter a doe rabbit's vulva, the more receptive it is to the buck.

Well got them all framed out. One for the grow outs and the bucks lil bachelor pad . Now just to put this water seal on the bottom and let it dry. Will put the wire and roofs on in a day or two ...and the floor in the grow out hutch area
Still debating if I should add some more bracing and maybe some extra uprights to the bottoms but idk yet

I'd go with the bracing. Especially if you put the doe in the bucks cage as Keith suggested.
Wouldn't hurt if the cage was extra sturdy and well braced in a case like that.
