That was my thought to but this bird was orange not red and didnt have the black face and maybe a bit smaller

Looks aberrant. Pretty rare!
Could be a mutation or a hormonal issue, if your local birders knew about it they'd be all over the place. I know quite a few people who would drive many hours to photograph something like that.

I saw a flock of birds in the neighborhood yesterday I have never seen before. Looked like blackbirds but had a bright yellow breast.. Cool looking birds.

Highly recommend the Merlin app to anyone interested in birds. You “listen” with you phone and it IDs the birds from their calls. You can save a list of birds you’ve captured with it. I have 134 species saved.
