Let's open a discussion on calling. Considering it on my studio site. Urban so it would be PCP airgun. Considering a 30 caliber, Georgia minimum big game. Ranges would be short, inside 100.

I'm old school...Johnny Stewart, Dennis Kirk, Major Boddicker, Bill Austin and Vern Howey influenced.
I like a skunk cover scent, I like wearing camo clothing that matches the calling back drop. Around here
with the limitations of suburbia I use a shotgun loaded with Hi brass #2s, bbs or 4 buck and/or a scoped
22 magnum 99% coyotes here. Most shots under 100 yards. Locater howl taught to me by Vern H. and a distress sound.

Used to use a fox pro but it finally stopped working. I should replace it coyotes have been waking us up at night.
And need thined down. Heard them from 3 different directions one night this week. Kid shined the light from the porch and saw one in the back yard it took off before his x hairs got settled. Or maybe I just nee to put out a few traps.

That would be good around homes....we are starting to get a trickle of coyotes here, still enough open ground for a shotgun, (shotgun only) but I won't tolerate them around the house

I have a Fox Pro that I have used only a few times. Don't like packing anything more than I need. Always have a lanyard with Kerry Carver calls on it and I found myself using them far more than the Fox Pro so it stays home now.

Don’t think calling and urban go together.

I met both Major and Vern at the National Coyote Calling contests in Rawlins, Wyoming back in the late 90's. Don't want to brag.... but my team did better than theirs each time. LOL

Both very wonderful people.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
