Those of you who use Pirate ship, do you still drop the box off at the post office? How exactly does it work?

You print out a shipping label, typically either UPS or USPS, whichever rate you select. Then drop off at appropriate location.

As k snow stated. I use which ever carrier is cheaper and closer on pirate ship. Sometimes on pirate ship USPS is cheaper than UPS.

Our Staples takes UPS and USPS drop offs. Real handy, that way you dont have to run packages to another location. You can take a UPS package to any designated drop off location. There are several around usually.

You can look up your best drop off locations online for UPS. Many of our Drug store chains have drop off services in their stores also.

I have found hat items in boxes usually come out better with UPS on Pirate Ship. I do not do hardly any envelope type packages so no opinion on those.

You do not have to find a UPS store for UPS drop off. Any pack & ship type place will take them. The local places will scan the label and give you a receipt if you ask them. Some of the auto part stores here accept UPS packages also.
