THIS IS NOT A SHOT AT THE TRAPS; I absolutely love them once they're dialed in.

Is there a better way, or a better wrench/tool/technique to get them adjusted? I am trying to level the pan and finding the night latch needs filed a decent bit, plus the pans need leveled right to left/left to right. For two of them I had to take the pans off to get enough torque on the bolts in order to get them loose. If I am just an idiot, tell me that too. I've adjusted dozens of brands/type of traps but these are fickle to adjust. Once they're dialed in, I don't know that another trap can touch them in terms of quality, functionality, etc for anywhere near the price!

Leveling left to right/right to left, I just grab the front of the pan with a pair of pliers and twist whatever direction needed. Could also chock the low side with something and tap the high side with a hammer to try and get it leveled out from side to side.

For pan height, if I have a few that are running high, I just put a piece of rebar or something under the pan, directly in front of the pan attachment arms. Bend down on the pan a little bit and see where it ends up. If they are too low then might have to compress the levers and move the jaws out of the way so the pan can be flipped backwards and then bend it the opposite direction? Low pans haven't been an issue for me though.

I have never had reason to try and loosen the pan bracket bolt or nut in order to adjust the pans.

I'd guess that Kendall or Kurt at NO BS would be glad to help if you give them a call.

I’ve only handled that trap once and would advise you that there was thought put into the trigger design for the trapper to be able to adjust it. I suggest learn how to adjust the trap as designed!

Carolina Foxer nailed it, I pretty much do what he described it’s easy to do. I did change out all my pan bolts because I found them hard to adjust when the phillips head bolt was clogged with dirt out in the field. I also filed the pan notch a bit so they fire fast with little pan drop.

That’s quite literally why I’m asking for help lol. Adjusting via the bolt on the frame works great, it’s just a pain. Other than that I absolutely love the traps
