I think we will have a good idea by June.
Now get out there and buy a couple of stylish fedoras.

Well, now that we once again have a FHA agent in Washington I at least have the ability to get sacks of beaver to North Bay. I'm thinking that will likely beat the current craft market prices we're seeing out west.

The fur market seems very deep right now and looks good for june,
May get an inkling on how deep the felt market is after the june sale-will see how much competition there is for our beaver.I got around 50 for the june sale-better quality overall than I had on the march sale.
Did you get your cats to North bay BP?
Eastern Canadian bobcats went up 300 percent at the march sale from the previous year.

Yep. I caught up with my FHA agent in Glenn's Ferry after the Idaho sale. Will have 21 on the June sale....that is if Jeni finds enough help to get the CITES paperwork done in time.

I was looking at how my section/grade of cats did on the March sale and they were going from $300-$600. That has me drooling....I've never got $400 for a cat in my life.

I hear they are sold out and the market is hungry.Hope you break the record BP.
I got a few more cats on the June sale as well as some marten and otter.
Otter could be better but my tanned inventory is sufficient for a while.

Otter are one of the species target I'm better off selling locally for the Indian regalia market. Typically $60-$75 these days...if the tail is wide at the skirt anyway.
