Yesterday morning while looking for a pair of coyotes I sat and listened to the Meadow Larks singing on the prairie as the sun came up. I missed that sound all winter, true sign of spring.

Had a flock of snow geese fly over. And saw the first Kingfisher of the year.

Been awhile since any new birds showed up , but today the Brown Thrasher showed along with his great variety of songs. There have been numerous sparrow types that did not stick around long enough for an ID.
