My dad and I have limited on sauger/walleye on back to back nights now. They're really in on the Ohio River now.

Make it three nights in a row! And throw in a bonus crappie tonight. This night fishing can get addictive. grin

It's a public dam with good access. You just have to know where to fish it and how. And it helps that we stay longer than anybody else.

Side note; I bought my first truck! I'm picking it up tomorrow. It's in Indiana, and my uncle's bringing it. It's a 2023 Tacoma with 80k miles on it. It was a work truck, so it had a lot of those nice easy highway miles. I got a really good deal on it. I'm excited to outfit it for this trapping season. I've already got around an 80 mile loop laid out. As much as I enjoy fishing and hunting, I can't wait for trapping to get here again. Especially with prices going up!

Raise the banner! Four straight limits on saugers! That's 48 saugers in 4 nights, along with 3 smallmouths, a crappie, and two drum for trapping bait. I might be able to get a picture posted of this limit. Unfortunately, we can't fish the next couple of days, so this ends the streak. We are putting 96 sauger filets in the freezer!
Rednecktrapper, I'm not going to build the truck any beyond trapping gear. I think it would be cool, but I'd rather use money to buy traps than build out stuff I don't need.
