No, PETA shouln't pay for damages, Washington State should. The State can change the trapping rules if they want to, and let us start using body gripping and foothold traps again.

Maybe all animal rights organizations, plus the State of Washington DNR should pay!
Had it not been for the non profit ( they make millions a year) animal rights organizations suing states Wildlife Divisions , non stop, the laws would make sense.
Remember the non profits never pay court costs, so they can sue until they break your bank.
