Yessir. Ground was too mucky on set day for me to put in my beaver extremes without the trays underneath them (and I forgot the trays). Happened to have two 5 dls that I figured had less pan tension and more surface area. Caught both of the females in them. Brought the trays today though so now I have beaver extremes at both dam breaks

Few more today. A double at a dam break and a single at a crossover.

I haven't had a beaver job since February. We are in bad drought down here. Only flowing water is in the local rivers and they're low too. All the swamps are mostly dried up. When it gets like this beavers are outta sight and outta mind....so no calls.

Im sorta glad, too! Lol

I normally don’t get many calls in general. I’ve been fortunate to have a couple back to back since season went out. I didn’t want to take this one cause we’ve been so busy, but I try not to pass many up because I want to establish a name for myself around these parts! It’s pretty dang dry here too. Those big rains a month or two ago filled everything back up temporarily, but it’s starting to get pretty low again

I thought I was all done with this place. Then two more decided to show up. Got a call from a landowner who’s place I was on a few weeks ago and a new one moved in so I’m not quitting yet

Negative. These 90 degree days and not checking until after work makes me not want to fool with them by the time I get home and get all my other stuff done. I don’t have the freezer space right now to store them for a year either. I might just be a sissy

We had beavers show up on the plantation right around Christmas last year. I told the manager I’d take care of it and he told me to hold off.
Didn’t understand at the time, but glad we did. They dammed up one little section of the “creek” and then eventually moved several hundred yards upstream and dammed up another section. Right now it’s one of the few places on the property that has water. Unfortunately with no rain in about a month, the water level is steadily dripping and May is historically one of our drier months.
