So one of the operators on the VZ mission dropped $37000 on that country having a change of leadership. Congressional candidates betting on election out comes with inside knowledge, betting oil oil price drops.
They didn’t say who, but someone put $950,000,000 on the oil price dropping hours before it did. This shows the IQ of the future leaders, thinking they wouldn’t get caught……or maybe they just don’t care?

I don’t blame the operator though, I would’ve done it……let him keep the $400000…..lol

That "bet" could have compromised the whole thing if it was discovered what the betters job was. He is going to live in a cage a long while is my guess.

Insider trading by politicians seems to be rampant with no enforcement.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Sounds like sour grapes from the outfit that took the bet.........

But to clarify.......bad idea to be making such a bet.......equally bad was idea that outfits are taking bets and making money on such nonsense. Whole thing is out of control.

Easy to vote your way into socialism, but impossible to vote your way out of it.

In trying to cover his tracks, he displayed a lot of behaviors that sent up the red flags that initiated the closer look ,which, led to opening the investigation.

You can legally bet on almost anything now adays. Just looked on Bet365 and there's UK politics, but nothing on Iran, Russia or other stuff. Apparently the operator used Polymarket?
Get your hockey bets in fellas, 50% boost!.....lol

I make a point to never bet more than a case of beer.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

There's been at least 5 fairly recently, including George Santos, Bob Menendez, Steve Stockman, Duncan Hunter and Chris Collins.
