I know next to nothing anout the value of these things, but I bought this Bobcat S70 today for $6k. Kind of ugly, but runs great, with bucket and forks. Is thst okay?

Good price if it works well.

That's probably an okay price for Washington. They are around $2500.00 around here. I could use one.

Anything that says Bobcat on it costs too much, no matter how good of a deal you got. I got a New Holland skid steer and have no desire to ever get another bobcat again.

That's probably within the market price range. But if you look around, and check auction sites, you can find them for a couple thousand less. As long as you don't have to dump much money into it, I would say you did all right. Bucket, forks, and tires are worth two grand.

I bought a track loader back in September and can't imagine going without it now that I've had one.

We will need to use a train for transport. There's a great many more. The big auctions, like Ritchie Brothers, often have more than two dozen skid steers sell for under $5000.00 in just a few hours.

An S70 is a much better machine than any of those. A good S70 is a $10,000 machine easily

It’s reasonable ! Last place to buy a skid loader is an Auction in my opinion.

Bobcats are very well built, and those older ones are easy to find parts for as most were generic, as for the older new hollands, pre Case owned, parts can be hard to come by, especially electrical, as most have to be found aftermarket.

One of the handiest tool in a shed. The older I get the more I want a JCB for getting in and out.
