We eat a coon once or twice during trapping season. Its okay. I prefer beaver meat. I dont eat a lot of them either. Beef is my favorite. Beef pork venison and chicken make the bulk of animals we eat. Wish I could sell coon meat here. Need more coon daddy's in the world.

The feller I used to sell coon to I called him Coon Meat Pete. He was about like Coon Daddy in his love for coon meat. When coon hides became so cheap, it just wasn't worth purposely catching them anymore, I stopped selling them. Think the last coon I sold to him was in 2019.

Never had any coon but would be willing to try it
