Have rooted hundreds of azalea this way. Survival rate is probably 90%. Cutting should be new growth.

I got mine today at their annual Wi pickup weekend. Great product & customer service. I'm not sure when their Mn pickup is. He ships a lot via UPS if any of you are interested. This is my 1st time buying from this company.

AJE - you had a post from May of last year about transplants from the previous fall that seemed to have failed. What happened with them? I ask because I have seen transplants not leaf out til July. I have learned to check the twigs. Brittle is dead. Flexible is still alive.
