Salmon-no salmon till July 4 ish Pike/Grayling/ sheefish/ rainbows and lakers in local lakes and rivers. Keep in mind local could mean a hundred or so miles in Alaska. How long you going to be in Fairbanks area? GUK.....it's the sound they make when they hit the end of the cable

garymc trapper G Joined: Jan 2013 WV	As others have said June is too early for salmon that far north. I fished the Hena outside of Fairbanks last year for grayling the 3rd week in July and really enjoyed it. I went up a few days early from our normal week of salmon fishing in the Kenai Peninsula.

Been a little Hectic for a few days We are flying into Fairbanks and then headed to Anchorage,Seward,Hubbard and Skagway. I looked online and the fishing guides advertised catch, clean, freeze and ship to you, then it has “except” on Tuesday, or Thursday, or whatever the day. That day just happends to be the day the ship is in port. We wanted to catch and have at least some of the fish shipped back home. Its our 40th anniversary.
