On the rare occasion where you do get sick, are your symptoms terrible, but very short lived?

Knock on wood. I very seldom get sick either. When I do get sick, I get a bad fever and lots of mucous, but I am better in usually less than a day to two.

I know I've been sick once, probably with the flu, since 2012, when we moved here. I also probably got Covid, because other people, who tested positive, who were at the same party, got sick the same day I did. That lasted about 18 hours for me. I went to bed at 8:00pm had a high fever and was better by 2:00pm the next day, when I got out of bed. Diane and the other people were sick for at least 2 or 3 weeks. Before those times, I think I was only sick once after 1995, until sometime after 2012.

I had the adverse reaction to the Covid, Flu and Shingles vaccine, that nearly killed me in 2021. I think my immune system is overly strong, which can be bad too.

My family seldom gets sick and usually recovers very quickly too. My sister has some auto immune disorders, where her immune system has to be suppressed, because it's over active.

You and I share enough common ancestry, that we are likely genetically pretty similar.

Hopefully you and your kids don't have any auto immune disorders develop. I suggest watching for them. Only rarely getting sick, is a sign they could develop.

My good buddy was slugging down a lot of beer so his wife gave him the ultimatum, and I filled the frig with NA beer. He values his marriage so he quit alcohol cold turkey and keeps the fur shed stocked with Busch NA. She’s proud of him and I’m glad for him too.

To you guys who say it tastes almost the same as real beer......you obviously don't know what real beer tastes like.

Zero alcohol beers, I do drink them. Recommended by my oncologist.

Been drinking them for about 5 years now. Bud Z being the most popular as it’s everywhere. Heineken, Corona are the other 2 that are really good. Tastes like a light Lite beer……lol. The first weekend I was pounding the zeros back watching Sunday night football and thought “I better slow down, gotta work tomorrow”……lol. It’s a weird feeling in the beginning. At parties, it’s entertaining just watching the sheet show slowly build up. I tried one of them 0% Rye & Cokes in a can. Poured it in a glass like the old days, tasted just like Crown Royal was in there. I realized I wasn’t drinking whisky for the taste…..lol
