Y'all should watch Kimmel's monologue from last night. For those who couldn't figure out the obvious, he explains how the "glow of an expectant widow" was a joke based on their age difference and relationship--like I explained above.

I don't agree with Kimmel on a lot of political issues, especially guns--but he's pretty dang funny. I don't have to agree with someone on everything to appreciate something about them.

Last thing--be very careful cheering for the federal government when it attempts to silence critics. The manufactured outrage over the latest joke is just a hook to get the base stirred up about Kimmel--who has been a thorn in their side for years.

Gutfeld, a cable show with a smidgen of the budget that Kimmel has consistently ranks higher in the ratings than crybaby Kimmel’s show. I don’t understand how Kimmel stays on the air with his low ratings.

Kimmels not funny. Remember when some guy from Minnesota shot a lion legally in Africa and everyone went crazy. That phony started crying on his show over that poor lion. He has nothing in common with any decent person. Can’t imagine his thoughts on trappers or hunters. He’s loving all the attention he’s getting now. To the crazy left he’s a hero.

The only way anything will be done about Kimmel, or any other talk show host on both sides of the fence is if there's a mass exodus of advertisers.

I don't think Kimmel knew there was gonna be an assassination attempt. I don't think he was encouraging one. His explanation of his "joke" is plausible. However, as someone who also has a large age difference in my own marriage, I find his "joke" pretty disgusting and in extremely poor taste! "Joking" about the death of someone's spouse is pretty sick, regardless of the context.

As to your last point, I would vehemently oppose any action taken by the government to try to silence Kimmel through legal channels. Expressing a desire for his employers to reprimand him, however, isn't government overreach IMO. Disney has the right to tell Trump and Melania to go pound sand...and they probably will.
