I always use anti-sieze on my studs. Yes it will change torque specs, you get more accurate torque specs when you torque "wet", this is why you always oil headbolts before torqueing them down, when bolts are dry they do not torque as evenly, and you can get a false reading as the threads catch and not be torqued near as tight as the torque wrench says. So adding never seize actually makes your torque reading more accurate. Also I far prefer cap style lugnuts, they protect the threads and keep them clean, I've twisted off quite a few studs changing tires on trailers with regular open ended style lugnuts over the years. I will change the lugnuts on my rigs to cap lugnuts if they have the open style ones, and have done the same to trailers (should always do it, but don't).

Gave a guy a ride out of the woods last fall who had a flat on his Jeep and folded his lug wrench over trying to loosen the lugnuts, gave him a ride back to where he was staying and he got a cordless impact to get them loose with.

Ok, Vinke. I'll try to do better.
But to be fair half those gals at Walmart look like they used to be dudes.

No bad luck at all. When I bent the four-way with my big strong manly hands, my wife gave me one of those "looks" like she did back when we met each other. I'm calling it a win. Lol.

That actually made me laugh out loud.

Eh...wot?
