Is this a thing where y'all live ? Swear most small town round here will have these lil boutiques pop up . Apparently this one just popped up in the same place another one was at a few months back Usually once to three times a year they will pop up.They always have the same over priced stuff , usually close down on a few months... They gotta be some kinda tax write off deal or something right ? Because I've never seen one open longer then about a year and a half . Seems they open and it's mainly just the owners friends or something buying a few things then it's just dead

They usually die because the owners rent is over two thousand a month and they cannot make that much money

We have several here, but the clientele money is also here to support them. I think a lot of these folks have the money to buy the overpriced clothes and then think if they like it everyone else will too. Not realizing that it’s not normal in a small town to spend that much on clothes

If the boutique fails, a wig shop might take its place for a while.

Possibly, reminds me of a video I watch about a weeks ago. Girl was talking about her journey in trying to get a vending machine deal started. Said after spending $3000 on a vending machine put it on a collage campus, she stocked it with all HER favorite snacks buncha bougie stuff most folks never even really hear of and she said she couldn't figure out why she wasn't make any money. Well she finally put a clip bird on it asking for suggestions and after a week it dawned on here that people didn't want here fancy expensive snacks and drinks . They wanted Doritos, monster , coke and ramen noodles . Said she really couldn't process till then that no one else would want what she did .

I just never understood how they would see the last two or three fail miserably doing the exact same thing then again...do the exact same thing .... Like I'm not the brightest light in the chandelier but that's seems like a very very glaringly obvious thing.... Then again I seen a lot of these places owners with FB pages peddling MLM goods talking about being " boss babes " or whatever so maybe it's just a mental thing

Well, those MLM "teas" sure seem to do well around here.

Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait
