I've went full circle on this. Single stage to progressive and back to single stage for precision.. Handgun and 223 ammo it's the progressive all day, every day..

Precision I just find I do a better job one at a time and breaking the steps up. I have to trickle powder charges or I just get too much variation on the load.. If long range is 300-400 yards for you it won't cause a lick of difference. past 700 it becomes quite problematic for me personally.

My guns are hunting tools. MOA is plenty good for distances I am confident in pulling the trigger. Even 2 MOA. I shoot enough to stay confident but don't shoot competition. It's not something I enjoy or want to spend the money on. Single stage it is for me. Been doing it that way for a long while.
