Attended the banquet in Bozeman last night, 2nd one now. Had a great time supporting what I think is the number one organization fighting for hunters and trappers in the west. Anyone who cares about our big game herds and the way they are being decimated by wolves should at least check them out.

Cliff Gray recently had Just Webb, coordinator of F4WM on his podcast discussing the entire funding, including Idaho and Montana DNR's.

He said since inception there have been approximately 3120 wolves taken, but of course they are still basically out of control and way over the original population goal.

Lack of government management agreement doesn't help.

Last year at Coyote Days me and a couple fellas were talking. Seems the trappers are handcuffed when it comes to trapping, mostly due to the grizzly. Increasing quotas doesn’t help if the current quotas aren’t being met. Can’t recall which state the numbers weren’t met or if it was all 3?
