They buried Clyde fast.
Too fast.

His family claimed him before the blood had even dried — before the dust settled on that Louisiana road. But Bonnie? She was left behind… and the newspapers got to her first.

Dallas couldn’t look away. A line stretched for blocks, thousands passing her coffin just to see what remained. Not the outlaw with the smirk and the gun — just a girl in a silk dress, broken and still. No Clyde. No legend. Just the end.

She had one final request:
“Bury me beside Clyde.”
Not fame. Not forgiveness. Just him.

But the world doesn’t grant softness to women it calls dangerous. Her family refused. The state refused. So they buried her alone — miles from Clyde, miles from the myth they created together.

And still… people never separated them. Every flower left at Clyde’s grave carried one for her. Every story spoke their names as one. Every image of that bullet-riddled car whispered the same truth: you can kill the bodies, but not the legend.

Bonnie knew how it would end. She didn’t fear dying — she feared being without him.

So when the guns flashed, she didn’t run. She didn’t beg. She stayed exactly where she chose to be:

Beside Clyde.

Till the last breath.

They buried her alone.
But history never did.

Bonnie and Clyde. Always together.
