Many of you knew Kip for his trapping some for his turkey calls
He sadly left us last fall
I will be attending the PTA in meadville this spring and selling the balance of kips calls and what ever traps I can hall . All proceeds go to his wife .
I all am looking to rehome his two coyote decoy dogs they be great farm dogs

I hope everything brings top dollar and then some! Kip was a fixture in and around PTA events for many years and always supported the Pennyslvania Trappers Association with donations of his calls; particularly boxed sets of his box calls at the various banquets and conventions. He will certainly be missed. He was a first class turkey hunter, trapper and outdoorsman and is gone much too soon.

The guy is Don Powell. He has the website www.minktrapping.com. His handle is minkguy here, I think.

I made a post about it there and linked this topic. I am pretty sure he would not mind, as Kip was friend of his.

Kip was a great guy. Talked with him many times throughout the years at the Little Valley NY rendezvous. He is missed. He always set up across from Ron Marsh.

Kip was one heck of a good guy.I lived only about three blocks from him when I was in PA. Gave him some of my trapping stuff when I left PA. Sure miss the guy.

I’m thinking Kip used Jake traps. Probably the best trap out there for coyotes.

My brother and I sent him some turkey feet for his back scratchers. Never got around to ordering one though. Are there any available? I purchased a couple of his box calls. In a recent thread on here about favorite turkey calls I gave a nod to Kip and the Ferocious box call.

Got a few of Kips back scratchers years ago.I am sitting here looking at one as I type this. That turkey foot will draw blood if you get to crazy with it.

The wife asked me years ago who scratched my back like that.

I told her it was done by using a turkey foot back scratcher. She didn't believe me at first. She said is that the best you can do?
