Looking at this for a gift I know few that would love it for father day if it actually worked as advertised . Has anyone of you guys have actual hands on one if these, if so what your thoughts.

I’ve read the independent reviews! Don’t waste your money. What they advertise and what you get are two different things!

I got one of these off Temu for less than $10. I actually really like it. I have no doubt you could solder copper pipe with it. I've used it to light stubborn campfires, melt rope/550 cord ends and some other stuff.

I've seen the reviews, and im ok with it being butane and not electric, I would be giving it to a advid camper and that is what I had in mind, campfires, place in a survival bag, grill lighter..

And if temu for less then 10 bucks works fine, sounds good to me

Local "Head Shop" will have some pretty good butane torches at reasonable prices.

I will ask the fetty crowd around town….
