So I have 26 small beaver that I was planning on sending to get tanned for garment or blanket use.The goal for the year was to have 21 so I could get the 21 and over discount of about $10.All the pelts need to be under 51” but I have 9 that are 51 to 51 1/2” maybe a couple a little bigger.Can I trim a little off to come back to size.Wish I would have realized the deal before they were tacked out I probably could’ve made it work.Thinking about sending to sleepy to avoid the hassle or getting a big bill for trying to cheat on size.I called them and the girl wasn’t very helpful even after talking with a co worker.

You could trim, trim on the head end. Not much there you will want to use.

Thanks for the reply-I trimmed a little to get to 21 and I mean a little and then put the other 5 at large price that was $4.50 more and sent it.I guess if they want my business they will be happy with what I paid.
