Had to take peg for her eye appointment ( she’s been battling glaucoma) and we have to travel out of town to where the eye specialist is.
We stopped at a Walmart and she looked down and saw an odd price on the 3 gallon jug of peanut oil… it said 10 bucks… this was the Lou Ann stuff,,, not the Walmart brand stuff.
There was 2 left… so we took it to the register expecting it to ring up around 5o bucks,,, and to our surprise,, it did indeed ring up at 10 bucks.
100.00 bucks worth of peanut oil for 20 bucks.
Pretty darn cool.
If guys haven’t tried it,,, I personally think that chicken and catfish deep fried in peanut oil is better than other oils other than straight out lard.

sometimes they mis mark prices , they are weird

do check the date it might be close to the sell buy and no one at wallly can afford the 3 gallon jug so it didn't sell

best one I ever got was canning jars , someone got carried away with the 2 for pricing regular quarts 2 for 7.50 and wide mouth 2 for 8.50 I filled the cart , they changed that sign before I had left the store.
that was farm and fleet not Walmart but I have gotten a thing or two from Walmart.

Hard to beat beef tallow for deep frying anything.
