I hear this is a Sconie condition ,many of us suffer from it.

Except musky it seems. Thought I was gonna get lynched one time by a group of guys at work that were talking musky fishing. I asked them if they had any good recipes I could use if I ever caught one.

Great photos and nice fish.

Many years ago I knew of a tributary creek to a reservoir in CA that was closed for trout until April 15, but was open for smallmouth and catfish all year.

I told a game warden one time, "... ya, I'm fishing for smallies but I can't keep these 20" rainbows off my flies,,,".

Good luck,

Pete

Beautiful fish.
And yeah, I'd be in for that kind of fishing

Really? LOL

I probably release 90% of the fish I catch. I just enjoy catching them. I’ll keep the better eating fish, crappie bass, perch, walleye. But anything out of season or anything that doesn’t make good table fare gets thrown back. Warm water bass is not a good eating fish.

My granddaughter and I catch a lot of fall fish in one of the rivers we frequent. We have a blast doing it and they run large in that river averaging about 12 inches. But they are not good eating. Why would we keep them?

Eh...wot?

I don’t think so. I think smallmouth are better, but that bar isn’t very high.

Nice fish.
Those little rainbow trout in that lake make excellent Big Bass bait
A 10" trout isn't too large for a bass that size
