So how were they screaming and cussing at parents in a public hearing if they shut out a public hearing? This is making less and less sense.....

2 different people working at my Dr officed( one appointment less to you need another specialist ASAP today) were from Cuba.

Talking with them for 5 minutes and you very quickly realize how pathetic 90% + of what people complain and argue about is. Our first world probles are a joke .

With my health doing what it has been I have very little patience for irrelevant nonsense. Bicker or argue around me nope im gone. Not listening to it. Its bad enough I drove 127 miles to work 2 weeks ago. The bos and hourly guy were arguing over procedures whan I walked in. I told the boss im not listening to the bs im leaving and drove back home. I was there 5 min. Probably worse when your not feeling well and up tight.

Point is things have been going to crap a long time I cand have any affect on most of it so im not going to spend time and effort thinking about things I cant change. When a situation is not where I want to be I leave. Makes things a lot simpler and productive.

Barack Hussein Obama, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.". It should have been, "There are still some problems in America, but as evidenced by my own election, we have made enormous progress and will continue to do so."

The real problem is that everyone has become too comfortable in their lives.
They're not paying attention to what's happening in the real world.
Hey it doesn't bother me, it's way over there.
It's not my family.
I just want to live in my own little world, could care less what others think.
What happens, happens, no problem until it happens to them.
We've become too complacent , and really don't know what's going on.
Nobody paid attention to how kids were reacting to everything.
The war in Vet Nam was over ( how many different reasons) taking everyone's lives.
Propaganda was effecting everyone , one way or another.
It's just like the illegal immigrants now!
We always allowed immigrants to come here on work permits.
They came here and made more money in a growing season, than years working in Mexico.
They came here made money , and went home a lot better off than before.
So don't give me that crap that you can't get people to pick your strawberries.
They've been allowed for as long as I can remember.
They're not the problem, it's those that come here to get free care.
And Obama set it all up.

yotetrapper30 - I was not there in person, however my wife and I were listening to a live stream. I assume it was one of my wife's friends that streamed via her phone. So we were picking up a lot of the off-mic comments as well as the "formal" speaking. As soon as anyone from the public said anything that didn't conform to the board members view, the board members went nuts. They in a raised volume voice - up to screaming - told the public speaker to Stop, shut up, that's enough, I don't care - SHUT UP.....and so on. It was surreal to listen to. Then add in all the very unprofessional comments off-mic. 5 year old kids would have had a much more civilized conversation.

So applying their tactics here - Imagine if every time you typed a response that didn't conform to my view, I was able to delete it. If you typed it again, I deleted it again and suspended your ability to post for 10 minutes , and so on. Sure is a pathetic method of censorship. Or another way to look at it. You go to court and the DA makes an opening statement accusing you of molesting a child. Your called to the stand and as you begin to state your case of innocence, the judge tells you to shut up, that's enough, quit talking and tells you you're guilty and sentences you to 30 years in prison with no appeal process.

Our elected members should be leaders, regardless of personal opinion. Successful leaders should have integrity, respect, empathy, and accountability amongst other traits. These idiots made themselves look worse than any of the Liberal Karens that famously pop up in social media that we all laugh at. We didn't have a problem in our district until these clowns fabricated problems based on issues elsewhere in the country. Now they are applying dictatorship means to what was a balanced system. I realize other districts out there have issues and it takes some bold leaders to bring it back to center. We didn't have that problem and the way these idiots conduct themselves is an embarrassment to the community and loses all credibility.

It also sets up the next round of failure that our community will endure. Because these people have chosen to stoop to such a low, you know the counter movement will be the extreme Liberals taking over and move the scale even further in the opposite direction.

so, didn't you say (in your second post), that these Board members led with these ideas for the election ["We never encountered or had the California issues of kids peeing in a sand box and all the other weird stuff that was rumored. Suddenly when time for electing board members came around we had problems that we never actually had. But these guys did a good job of convincing people that we did."?]...

seems to me that these Board members were quite up-front about their mindset DURING the Election Cycle. They tapped into the majority of Voters who believe that the Community was at risk of the Woke bs that has infected so many other communities. Clearly, you are in the Minority, since these Board Members WERE (in fact) elected by espousing these views.

which brings me back to my point...everybody loves democracy; until the results go against their wishes.

another point that bothers me...if they were just performing a "wind ensemble" musical piece, how is it even relevant (enough so that they had to send out parental notifications 7 months ago) who wrote the piece? there has to be more to the story...thinking there WAS going to be some indoctrination planned.

it would be tough to imagine parental notifications were needed for a purely instrumental "wind ensemble". That music teacher had an agenda besides showcasing an instrumental composition.

You can only listen to these woke wing nuts for so long. They immediately go to screaming and name calling when they realize they are not going to get their way. I wouldn’t blame the board for (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) them up. I’d actually cheers the board for doing it.

The only way to fight the dangers of incrementalism is to stop it before it starts. You’ll be accused of being a paranoid, anti whatever and worse, but it’s the only way.

Because everything is offensive and everyone gets butt hurt, the new policy is (paraphrasing) parental notification of everything that is done in and associated with the classroom.

Board members were quite up-front about their mindset DURING the Election Cycle FALSE! They didn't campaign on disregarding public comment and following their own agenda. They campaigned on a lie - to have integrity and support the community and follow the community's wishes. I expect this behavior out of uneducated extreme liberals that feel it is their duty to determine what is best no matter what - clearly why I don't vote for them.

Maybe I have too high of standards???? To listen to these board members be so disrespectful to the people that elected them (yes, I voted for them too) and totally ignore their comments is horrifying. What does this teach the kids??? To disrespect, ignore, yell, and throw a fit when someone disagrees with you..... I expect better. Set the example. Demonstrate leadership by listening, evaluating others opinions, being respectful to others, be the calm one in the room, guide the conversation and ask the appropriate questions to guide the communications. All of which were not done in this meeting. If I conducted business this way I would never work again.

I don't think expecting some decorum during public hearings, no matter the politics of the attendees, rises to the level of hysterics

the hysterics I referenced was the "Everything in the classroom requires parental notification".

waiting to hear how many Parental Notifications they send out each day.

perhaps he can post a few of the more common ones...
